If you travel to the South Moravia you certainly expect pleasant touch of history, folk traditions, customs and beautiful costumes. And your expectation is right – especially in Šardice.
Enjoy local traditions and customs at balls, folk party (fašáňková zábava), traditional parades of brass music, “Zarážání hory” and traditional costume feasts, harvest home, cutting May Pole down (Kácání mája) and other events. Šardice has really rich cultural and folklore tradition. There is Šardičan folklore association, three brass orchestras – Šardičanka and Ištvánci and youth brass music body called Mladá muzika from Šardice.
